Danielle and Nathan first crossed paths on Halloween of 2020, Nathan dressed as The Red Wiggle and Danielle as Scary Spice. What started as a casual conversation quickly developed as they found themselves enjoying each other's company. By the end of the evening, Danielle had wowed everyone with a backflip, and Nathan had secure their first date.

What followed was a beautiful and effortless journey together. On February 27, 2021, they made it official, and from that moment, their relationship blossomed as they wrapped up their junior and senior year at Purdue.

Their first summer together was long-distance between Fishers, IN, and Rockford, IL—but they found time to visit each other's home towns and meet family. On The Fourth of July weekend they met in the middle at Grand Haven, Michigan and enjoyed their first trip together. Although neither of them knew at the time, this would be the beginning of many fond adventures they'd have in Michigan in the years to come.

After graduating together in May of 2022, they went on a trip to Italy with friends and then began their professional journeys. Nathan embarked on his career as a manufacturing engineer in South Bend, IN, while Danielle began her work as an actuary in Chicago, IL.

As their careers continued to progress, they got to know I-90 like the back of their hands, navigating the distance between them with grace and love.

They've been fortunate to have adventures together all over the world—from the tropical beauty of Hawaii...

to annual ski trips...

and hiking and camping the national parks of Utah...

to their cherished Fourth of July trips to Michigan! Life continued to surprise and delight them, and their love grew stronger with every new experience.

Then Nathan proposed in October of 2024 while on a weekend trip to Grand Haven, Michigan —the same place where they’d made so many memories on their first adventure! It was a moment of pure joy as their relationship had come full circle, and they were reminded of just how far they’d come together.

The past four years have been filled with unwavering support from family and friends, along with growth in faith and love. And now, as they prepare to take this next step, they can't wait to celebrate their love and commitment with all of you on August 8th.
