For your convenience, the best airport to use when traveling to our wedding is Greenville International Airport.

What accommodations are included for guests?

We trust that you are all intelligent, capable adults who can research your own hotel and transportation accommodations while in town for the wedding. We won’t be providing a list of recommendations, but there are plenty of great options out there—Google is your friend! As we get closer to the big day and all RSVPs are in, we’ll post a finalized guest list so you can connect with each other. Whether you want to coordinate carpooling, share an Airbnb, or just see who else will be in town, you’ll have the chance to organize plans with friends if you’re interested. We can’t wait to celebrate with you—see you soon!

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

In late April, upstate South Carolina typically enjoys mild and pleasant spring weather. Average daytime temperatures range from the mid-60s to mid-70s°F (18–24°C), with cooler evenings dipping into the 50s°F (10–15°C). You can expect a mix of sunny days with occasional light rain, as spring showers are common. It’s a beautiful time of year with blooming flowers and fresh greenery, perfect for outdoor events. Dressing in light layers is recommended to stay comfortable throughout the day.

What is the dress code?

Let’s talk fashion! Our wedding is a formal affair, so dress to impress—think elegant, chic, and celebratory. But here’s the twist: no white, no black. That’s right—white is reserved for the bride, and black is sitting this one out. We want a night full of color, style, and personality! So bring your best formal look, add a touch of flair, and get ready to celebrate in style. We can’t wait to see you all looking stunning on our big day! PSA:: if you show up in white, expect to have red wine thrown in your direction.

Are plus-ones and children allowed?

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you! To help everything run smoothly, we wanted to share a few details about our guest list. Children: We are happy to welcome children, but kindly ask that you indicate their attendance when submitting your RSVP. This will help us with seating and meal planning to ensure everyone has a wonderful time. Plus-Ones: If your invitation includes a plus-one, their name will be listed on your invitation. If a plus-one is not mentioned, we kindly ask that you attend solo so we can keep our celebration intimate.

Can I post wedding photos on social media?

During the ceremony, please keep your phones put away and on silent. We have professional photographers capturing every moment, and we’d love to see your smiling faces—not phones in the air—in our wedding photos. During the reception, feel free to take and post photos! We want you to capture the fun, and to make it even easier, we’ll have a QR code posted throughout the venue where you can upload your pictures and see everyone else’s, too.

Is there a timeline for the reception?

Get ready for a wedding celebration like no other! We’ve planned an unforgettable night filled with fun, laughter, and plenty of ways to keep you entertained. Here’s what you can look forward to: Photo Booth – Strike a pose and snap some memories! Tattoo Artist – Feeling bold? Get a flash tattoo to commemorate the night! Not ready for the commitment? We’ve got temporary tattoos for you too! Dancing – Bring your best moves and get ready to tear up the dance floor! Cigar Rolling – Watch skilled hands craft cigars on-site for a smooth and classy experience. Card Games & Yard Games – Whether you love a good poker face or some friendly outdoor competition, we’ve got games for everyone. Kids-Only Section – A special area just for the little ones to keep them entertained while the adults party! To make the most of all these amazing activities, we are skipping the traditional reception formalities—no long speeches, no formal dances—just more time for mingling, celebrating, and enjoying the night together! That said, if you truly feel the need to give a speech, our videographer will be rounding up guests for confession-style interviews (just like in The Office). We ask that guests please do not interrupt the music to make a public speech—instead, track down the videographer to participate in the confessional! This way, we can capture your heartfelt (or hilarious) messages without pausing the party.

Is there a seating chart?

We’re shaking things up for our reception! There will be no assigned seating—instead, we’re going with cocktail-style seating to keep the energy flowing and encourage everyone to mix, mingle, and enjoy all the festivities. For dinner, we’ll have an open-service dining experience available during a designated window of time. So grab a plate when you’re ready, savor the delicious food, and keep the party going at your own pace! We can’t wait to celebrate with you—so bring your best party vibes and get ready for an unforgettable night!

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

We’re excited to share the details of our catering menu for the big day, and trust us, you’re in for a treat! To kick off the celebration, we’ll have a cocktail hour featuring a grazing table with everything you could possibly imagine on a charcuterie board—cheeses, meats, fruits, crackers, and more, so you can snack while mingling. For dinner, we’re doing something a little different with station-style dining. You won’t have to choose between dishes—eat as much as you want! We’ll have a custom pasta bar where you can create your own pasta dish with chicken or steak as protein options. There will also be a prime rib carving station with assorted veggies on the side. A cold bar will be available with Caesar salad, deviled eggs, and some Cajun specialties that we’re keeping as a fun surprise! And for dessert, we’ll have the traditional wedding cake for you to enjoy, along with a live beignet station, where fresh beignets will be served right before your eyes! We’ve spent a lot of time finding the best chef in the area, and we’re thrilled to have Chef Mike, who was also a Chopped Champion in 2025, preparing our meal. We can’t wait for you all to experience the delicious flavors!

Will there be an open bar?

Cheers to a night of celebration! We’re excited to treat you to an open bar featuring beer and wine only. For those who prefer something non-alcoholic, we’ve got you covered with a soda bar, where you can enjoy our signature mixes or get creative and craft your own refreshing drink. One important note: we do not have transportation arranged, so please plan ahead and ensure you have a sober designated driver if you’ll be drinking. Your safety means everything to us!

Instead of a traditional gift registry, we’ve decided to create a honeymoon fund where you can contribute to making our dream trip to Greece a reality! Are there other events happening this weekend?

The party doesn’t stop after the reception—at 9:30 PM, the after-party begins! We’re turning up the energy with a headbangers ball, featuring a mix of current hip-hop and rock, so get ready to let loose, throw up the horns, and dance like no one’s watching. To cap off the night in style, we have a newlywed's send-off scheduled for 10:45 PM, and we’d love for everyone to stick around until the end. The vibe will shift, the lights will dim, and the music will get a little heavier, but trust us—it’s going to be an unforgettable way to close out the night. Come ready to celebrate, keep an open mind for the mood change, and let’s end this night with a bang (literally)!

Save the drama for your momma.

We are beyond excited to celebrate with all of you and want this night to be nothing but amazing vibes, great memories, and pure fun. That being said, drama and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable night for everyone, we have paid security on-site (off-duty police officers) who are instructed to escort anyone off the property if necessary. So let’s all keep it classy—have fun, dance, drink, and celebrate, but don’t be that person who gets belligerent and causes a scene. Let’s keep the focus on love, laughter, and a damn good time!
