Getting to The Island

The island is only accessible by ferry or small plane. There are two ferry options - New London, CT and Point Judith, RI. The high-speed ferry only operates out of point Judith RI. We recommend traveling to the island on Thursday 9/4 if possible. In the case of inclement weather, ferries and planes do not run! The majority of hotels/inns require a 2-night minimum stay. If you are not able to stay on the island, we would love to have you join us for our ceremony though dinner service and depart on the last ferry.

This is the express ferry departing from New London, CT. Travel time to BI is approximately&nbsp;1-1.5 hrs.&nbsp;Amtrak also has a connecting station at the port, providing ease of access for those who wish to travel by train. This is a passenger only ferry and&nbsp;cannot accommodate cars.&nbsp;Please refer to the Point Judith ferry if you are interested in bringing a car on island. Plan on arriving at the ferry 45 minutes prior to departure time to park and collect your tickets. PLEASE NOTE: This ferry only runs Friday-Sunday after Labor Day. If you are planning to travel to/from the island on Thursday 9/4 or Monday 9/6, you will need to use the Point Judith Ferry. Block Island Express - CT

There are two ferry options to choose from when departing from Point Judith -&nbsp;traditional&nbsp;and&nbsp;hi-speed. Traditional&nbsp;- travel time is approximately&nbsp;1 hour&nbsp;and accommodates vehicles. Accommodations 

We recommend booking your accommodations ASAP as hotels/AirBNBs fill up very quickly on the island. Below you will find a list of suggested places to stay and a map for reference on location to the wedding venue &amp; beach bonfire.

This hotel is the location where the ceremony &amp; reception will be and is an 8-minute walk from the ferry. Our room block as expired 4/1, however you can still call to book available rooms outside of the block.

Additional Lodging 

Although Block Island is very small, there are multiple lodging options all over the island. These options include hotels, inns, bed &amp; breakfasts, Airbnb rentals, and rental homes. Block Island does not use third party booking sites (Expedia, Travelocity..etc) because of this, all accommodations online will say booked when in actuality there are many rooms available. You must call to inquire about availability and booking.

Rent Mopeds or Bikes

You likely will not bring your car, so mopeds and bikes are the best way to get around the island.
