In 2019, we grew to love each other during work out classes at the Bel Air Athletic Club in our hometown of Bel Air, MD, and we have not stopped competing since! It didn't take long for us to move in together (sorry Mom and Dad) to our first apartment in Abdingdon, MD. Danielle thankfully was accepted into PA school in Maryland and Will started a new project at Johns Hopkins, so we up and moved to Fells Point in Baltimore. A week later, we picked up our best buddy, Jax, and then the world shut down after only one week of bringing the little guy home. We were so grateful to have several months to train Jax and spend every night at "dog club" with our new lifelong friends in Baltimore. Will proved to be the most supportive and loyal partner during Danielle's 2 years in PA school. Will decided to leave Whiting-Turner after 5 years and took a subcontractor job in the DMV area, which allowed Danielle to expand her search for dermatology practices. We landed in beautiful Haymarket, Virginia, just an hour outside of Washington, DC. All of these new changes brought new beginnings for our future together. We traveled to Chamonix and Paris, France for the Christmas holiday and Will proposed under the Eiffel Tower at night. After some last minute travel plans (wouldn't be an engagement story without some chaos!), we flew to Ireland to celebrate our engagement with dog club friends (shout out to Josh and Kirsten!). We sang and danced the nights away in the best Irish Pubs while clinking Guinness beers, G&Ts, and Irish coffees. After returning home to Virginia, we settled into the area and joined the Piedmont Golf Club. We met a group of special friends who welcomed us into the community and have now become our second family - our home away from home. Throughout every chapter of our 6+ years together, our love has grown stronger. We cannot wait to have all our loved ones from each stage in our lives in the same place to celebrate the beginning of the rest of our lives together.
