Most places in San Diego are within 10-15 mins away.
The wedding is close to Pacific Beach- staying close to any of the beaches is a safe bet.
Mission Beach is close by and has a lot of nice resort-style hotels.
La Jolla Shores is more high end.
North Park is a hip spot with a lot of bars and restaurants.
Staying in Downtown San Diego is not recommended.
