On the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University senior Danielle and junior Brandon first connected as acquaintances for about a year. Brandon was utterly shocked. Here, amid all these guys, stood the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. Though Danielle, fresh from closing a prior chapter, took a little longer to see the potential. Once the timing aligned, Brandon wasted no time. He boldly asked her to be his date to the Sigma Chi fall formal in Orlando, Florida. Uncertain of her romantic interest but ever hopeful, he was thrilled when she agreed.Soon after, Danielle upped the ante. She invited him on a flight to Tallahassee for her sister's Parents' Weekend at Florida State University with her dad, Michael McCauley, and stepmom, Bethany Davis—their first real one-on-one time away from Seabreeze Boulevard. Adding to the hilarity of meeting Dad on date one, Michael, during a quick flight where Brandon soaked up every piloting tip he could, turned to him out of nowhere and deadpanned, "So my daughter's a cougar now, huh?" Brandon froze. What do you say to that? He laughed it off, beaming inside. It hit him then: not only did he adore Danielle's fun, confident personality, but her family matched it with the same witty, bold humor that he already loved about his own family.Back home, their connection accelerated. On November 3, 2021, after a few persistent attempts, he sealed the deal, making them official. They built memories with their friends, many now in the wedding party, but none matched the impact on their relationship of one of Brandon's best friends, Hayden Richhart, who became Danielle's close confidant and friend too. Hayden's loyalty and character shone through many times. Sadly, Hayden has since passed, but his role and memory endure as a catalyst for Danielle and Brandon's story, which, without him, might not have been possible.In Daytona, they discovered favorite restaurants, enjoyed Streamline Hotel brunches, Sigma Chi hangouts, and student union study dates.After Graduating from Embry-Riddle Danielle moved back to Boca Raton, while Brandon finished school. He became I-95's most dedicated driver. Frequent three-hour one-way treks to see her? Worth every mile. After graduating in fall 2022 Brandon relocated to Boca, starting as a flight instructor at American Flyers in Pompano Beach. He endured nine months of his packed schedule. Six-day weeks dragged. But they savored shared moments in building a life they've worked so hard for.In 2023, Danielle nabbed her dream aircraft broker job. It coincided with Brandon's first airline pilot role at Frontier Airlines, which operated a pilot base in Miami, a relief with the possibility of keeping them local. He attended 2.5 months of Denver training, their longest separation, with sparse visits. Danielle's career flourished amid missing him, phone calls their lifeline. The next twist came in September 2024: a San Juan, Puerto Rico base designation for Brandon. Potential frustration about their distance apart flipped. They alternated visits between Florida and Puerto Rico.After six months, Brandon's Miami reassignment reunited them. It confirmed they were inseparable, prompting him to plan the proposal. A lot of thought and calls to Mom went into planning. Alongside friends, he chose the stunning Pelican Rock in Cabo San Lucas as the spot. To outwit her suspicions, he enlisted sister Sarah McCauley for recon and friend Victoria Vulitsky to plant a fake, unromantic proposal story Danielle would hate a week before they left for their trip. She stewed quietly, and was irked for a week. He hid the truth, chuckling at what he knew was actually at hand. Arriving July 11, the group kept quiet. They had "scored" a "free" boat charter (actually Brandon's booking) for cocktails and swims. Nerves aside, he proposed at sunset over the ocean to her surprise. Her joyful "yes" made him the luckiest and happiest man in the world.

Things to Do

What Should I wear? The dress code is black-tie optional. Guests are encouraged to dress in formal evening attire. For the men, this includes a tuxedo or dark suit with a dress shirt and a tie. For the women, an evening gown, or a floor length cocktail dress. What time should I arrive? The ceremony begins at 5PM but we kindly ask that guests arrive at 4:30. Are children welcome? While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We appreciate you making arrangements and look forward to celebrating with you! Where is the ceremony and reception? Both the ceremony and the reception will be at the Trump International Beach Resort - the address is 18001 Collins Ave, Sunny Isles Beach, FL 33160. Can I bring a plus-one? We have thoughtfully planned our guest list. If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will appear when you RSVP. We appreciate your understanding! Is the wedding indoors or outdoors? The ceremony will be held outdoors (as long as weather permits!) on the Lower Lawn and the reception will be indoors and take place in the Ocean Ballroom. What will the weather be like? South Florida weather in Late May is usually warm and beautiful, with temperatures in the 80's. We'll be prepared to keep guests comfortable.
