It all started in room 414 at Toledo School for the Arts (TSA) during an orchestra rehearsal for TIYO (Toledo International Youth Orchestra). It was Danielle’s first rehearsal to see if she wanted to stay. Luckily she had a few friends from her school (TSA) which made her want to stay as she knew the conductor and co conductor as they were her teachers. Her one teacher, Diana Anderson, was the one to push her to join TIYO. Quinn joined TIYO the year before Danielle and he made a few friends. This was when their paths crossed. As Quinn was at Southview high school, they did not see each other everyday. Tuesday suddenly became one of the favorite days of the week!

The year 2018 was one of the best years as Quinn and Danielle were becoming close!
Jump forward to the Canada trip 2018. Danielle reached out to Quinn the night before asking to be “bus buddies” and they hung out the entire trip! This was when their sparks were flying! As they shared food, played games, shared glances in between orchestra pieces, etc. Those early mornings Danielle would fall asleep on Quinn’s shoulder because she is not a morning person! From this point on they went on multiple “friend dates” like going to the movies, getting dinner, grabbing hot chocolate (Danielle does not drink coffee), etc. Quinn and Danielle texted daily and Snapchat each other. It was not until January of 2019 that things started to change between them. After a Walleye game (hockey game), that Danielle invited Quinn to, she had a note prepared to give him after the game confessing her feelings. While she was driving him back home her heart beating rapidly, stomach filled with butterflies, and head racing she gave him a card with the note inside. When he tried to open the card while still in her car she politely ask him to open it inside by himself. When Quinn was reading this letter he was shocked as he was oblivious Danielle liked him. They made it official to be boyfriend and girlfriend on January 27th, 2019. They hung out very often even while Danielle was in college in Toledo and Quinn would be graduating that following May. Over the years their love has only grown stronger. They did long distance for over 3.5 years due to Quinn’s college being in Cleveland. Nonetheless their love was tried with the distance and COVID restrictions but they succeed. Danielle moved to Dayton, OH in 2021, while Quinn was still in college, to start her career in Vascular Sonography. After Quinn’s graduation in May of 2023 he moved down to Dayton to be with his love. Then August 17th, 2023 they bought their first home together.

Their love for each other has grown substantially over the years and Quinn finally popped the question on December 29th, 2024. One of the best days for Danielle and Quinn. Surrounded by family they were truly blessed! Danielle couldn’t help but cry! She was filled with so much joy and love.
