A block of rooms has been reserved for a discounted rate at the Hampton Inn in Guntersville. Located at: 14451 US-431 S Guntersville, AL 35976 Call 1-256-582-4176 and mention the Godin-McDavid Wedding to book by April 1st, 2024.

There will be a shuttle service provided to and from the Hampton Inn- Guntersville hotel and Burns Bluff. Shuttles will depart at 3pm prior to the start of the ceremony and begin hourly return trips starting at 8:30pm. The last shuttle will leave at 10:20pm.

Please arrive no later than 3:30 pm. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:00 pm. Late parties will not be permitted entry until the ceremony is over. Please keep in mind that the venue is an hour and a half away from the Birmingham area, so please allow for traffic delays.

Celebrate with us in style by choosing semi-formal attire. For women below-the-knee dresses, dressy separates, or an elegant pantsuit (styled with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats). Most of the venue will be easily walkable minus some crushed gravel pathways. As for men, opt for either suite and tie or dress shirt and slacks with the option to wear a tie. Please note the venue does not permit blue jeans or t-shirts. Please do not wear white, ivory, or cream out of respect for the bride.

We want you to enjoy our special moment with us without distractions. We have hired an amazing photographer to capture our wedding ceremony. We will be asking for an unplugged ceremony. Please refrain from all electronics until cocktail hour.

While a wheelchair will be difficult to maneuver, Burns Bluff does have golf carts and will be able to assist with transporting guests to and from the parking lot.

Once you come to the end of the gravel road take a right and follow the signs for parking. Ample free parking will be available. An optional golf cart shuttle will be available to take you down the short pathway to the Bluff's Edge Pavilion for the ceremony.

A little of both! Our ceremony will take place under a covered pavilion overlooking the canyon below. Following the ceremony, our cocktail hour will be outside. The reception will follow inside the "charn" a reclaimed 1892 Pennsylvania church.

Yes, must be supervised as the wedding venue is located on an open edge bluff.

The reception will serve options of beer or wine, only to be served by our licensed bartenders. Please do not bring any personal alcohol to the wedding ceremony or reception.
