It all started in 2013 eight grade when we had three classes together. It was the days of Vine, Pitch Perfect, hipster glasses, “Party Rock Anthem”, and skinny jeans. Dani was still the new kid, and Joel was the class clown. He thought he could win her over by tying her shoes to a desk, and playing jokes on her in gym class. Lo and behold, it worked!

Our first date was a Redbox movie with Dani’s mom and grandma on the couch. After ten high school dances, winning cutest couple, four years of long-distance college (including four months abroad), eleven years of dating, and raising a puppy, Joel popped the question!

We can’t wait for all our friends and family to come celebrate the life we are building together!
