It all began during the pandemic in 2020. While the world seemed to slow down, our story was just getting started.

The First Date: Labor Day weekend was where it all began. We ventured to the Seaport in Boston, ending our day at Trillium Brewery, which quickly became "our spot." While waiting for our reservation at Trillium, we decided to grab a drink at Tony C's. Just as our drinks arrived, we got a notification that our table was ready. Stephen looked up in awe as Danielle chugged an espresso martini faster than he had ever seen before. In that moment, he thought, "She might be the one." From that day forward, weekends were often spent exploring new breweries and discovering new places—it was a mission fueled by craft beer and curiosity.

The Early Adventures: Our first day trip took us to the Newport Cliff Walk, where we soaked in the ocean views and dreamed of more adventures. Not long after, we embarked on our first overnight trip to Portsmouth, New Hampshire. It poured the entire time, but we didn’t let that dampen our spirits. Sprinting through the rain, soaked jackets and all, we even managed to drink beers in the middle of a downpour. (Pro tip: Rain makes everything more memorable!)

The Framingham-Southie Commute: In those early days, we made the trek between Framingham, where Danielle lived, and Southie, where Stephen lived. It was worth every mile for the chance to spend time together.

Sunburns and Sunshine: Our first long-distance trip took us to sunny Florida, with stops in Orlando and Siesta Key Beach. Danielle got a tour of Stephen’s alma mater, Rollins College, and we spent a perfect few days on Siesta Key Beach… until Stephen learned the hard way that he is not tougher than the sun.

Building a Life Together: Life moved fast. We moved in together in Brighton, MA, and soon welcomed the first addition to our family—Rowland, our perfect good boy. After a year and a half of city living, we decided we needed more space and left the city behind.

Home Sweet Home: In Grafton, MA, we bought our first home. The first year was spent turning the house into our own, and Stephen swears he never wants to look at a can of paint again. But it was all worth it. In November 2023, we welcomed the newest member of our family, River—our crazy but loveable good girl.

The Big Surprise: On October 26, 2024, Stephen had a plan. He told Danielle they were heading to Grafton Common for Christmas photos with the dogs. Little did she know, Stephen had been working on a surprise for months. With Rowland and River by their sides, he asked Danielle the biggest question of all. Spoiler alert: She said yes!

And now, here we are, ready to start the next chapter of our story. We can’t wait to celebrate with all of you!
