If you know Danielle and Michael, they both love the gym. Both of them started at Next Level Fitness in Monticello in 2018. The funny thing, neither one of them spoke to the other until Fall of 2023. Now how did they start talking? Like any 21st Century couple it started over social media when Michael posted a funny photo online and Danielle decided to respond to it through a laugh react. The date was September 27, 2023 this date will be significant later.

Shortly after talking to one another online, they realized they had several things in common. Then Michael invited Danielle to have some Pre-workout (gym folk fuel), which she used to have a hatred for after bad experiences, but he changed her mind about it.

Michael changed Danielle's mind about a lot of things whether it was the gym, life, or even the fact that a tattoo-covered man could be a softie (don't tell him we told you that ;) ).

When Michael and Danielle first started talking they bonded over Halloween and Danielle remembered meeting Michael a year prior at a Halloween party, she was a cat and he was Michael Myers. They decided to hang out and get Halloween costumes to go to a party with friends, but this originally was not planned as a date but eventually turned into one. Danielle was Poison Ivy and Michael was Texas Chainsaw for Halloween 2023.

A week after their first date and after a month of talking, if you know either person they are both very VERY impatient, with that being said Danielle told Michael "I'm your girlfriend and you're going to deal with it" and his response was "Yes ma'am!" The only date that did not have the number 27 was November 4, 2023. The two kept things quiet for a bit but they slowly became "That gym couple" at Next Level Fitness. Whether they are in or out of the gym these two spend all their time together with their animals or watching movies (hopefully not horror if Danielle has anything to say about it).

The two knew they wanted to get engaged, so for two weeks, Michael worked on an engagement ring customizing it and crafting it to perfection. Danielle said to Michael "The day you get the ring is the day you're going to propose." Michael responded with, "No I can hold out on something as important as this." When Michael proposed, Danielle figured it out about a week before it happened due to their friends giving away hints (waterfalls and hikes), but it didn't ruin it. Danielle is the type of person to investigate and interrogate people until a problem is solved.

So the day of the proposal, March 27, 2024, it was pouring rain. Danielle figured that it wasn't going to happen due to the rain, but like she predicted the ring was arriving that day and Michael did not want to wait. About two hours before Michael proposed, the ring arrived at his family's house. Deep in the woods near his parent's house, Michael got down on one knee.

Through the trials of life, God led the two together, that is the best explanation that can be given. From finishing each other's sentences, and saying things at the same time, to having significant dates that are the 27th, these two know it is meant to be. Danielle and Michael are excited to share this moment in time with you all. So see you all at the altar!
