It was the beginning of Covid and a coworker told me about the app Hinge. We matched on the app and Rodney hit me up on 3/28/2020. We went from messaging on the app to talking and texting on the phone. On the 3rd conversation Rodney jokingly said he would see me at thanksgiving. Little did I know he was right. On 5/8/2020 we met in person. At the time I was not ready to be more than friends and Rodney was cool with that. And a friend he definitely was. He would call and check on me and I would call to vent. Close to the end of 2020 I had to go in the office and Rodney met me at the McDonald's on 10/14/2020. According to him "the sun was glistening behind you and the angels were singing" and there was a glow around me as I came towards him. From him knowing that I was getting cabin fever, he invited me to a show he was playing in. On 10/17/2020 I met Rodney at the wedding reception, and he snuck a kiss. Ever since then we have been happily ever after.
