Cove Valley Splash Cabin Address will be sent to each guest.

Is there parking available at your wedding venue?

Yes, there is a long driveway that should be able to fit all the cars if each family car pools.

Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding will be indoors. The after party will be a mix or indoors and outdoors for our bonfire.

Have you reserved blocks for rooms at a near by hotel?

No, everyone is welcomed to stay at the cabin. If you would like to have a hotel to yourself and your family, cost will be at your own expense.

What’s the best airport to use?

Knoxville’s McGhee Tyson Airport (TYS) 2055 Alcoa Hwy, Alcoa, TN 37701

What is the dress code for your wedding?

We want a casual but classy wedding attire nothing too formal but definitely something comfortable where everyone looks nice.

What is the dress code for the after party?

We invite you to be comfortable, Pajamas, Sweatpants. Anything that makes you feel comfortable to lounge around in or to go swimming.

Are there any colors or styles you’d prefer me to wear?

The bride will be wearing ivory and the groom will be wearing cream. The colors of the wedding will be christmas colors and earth tone colors. We invite you to feel comfortable and happy and whatever you wear. Please do not wear white or ivory/cream.

What is the weather and climate like in the area?

The average temperature in Sevierville in December for a typical day ranges from a high of 50°F (10°C) to a low of 33°F (1°C). Some would describe the temperature to be cold. The general area may also feel breezy.

Are plus-ones allowed?

Plus-ones or twos will be allowed for certain guest.

Are children allowed?

Unfortunately, no children will be allowed to attend, except for the brides, younger brother.

What type of food will be served at your wedding?

The food will be listed on the itinerary posted on the website.

Will there be meal options for guest with dietary restrictions or allergies?

Yes, we will make sure to provide a meal for each guest. Please RSVP with any dietary restrictions or allergens so they may prepare a meal for each guest.

Will there be an open bar?

The couple will be providing a select choices of wines and beer. If you would like a special type of wine or beer, you may bring it for yourself or to share.

Do we need to bring any food or meals?

Always welcome to bring any snacks throughout your stay. If you would like to provide a meal to the couple or to the whole group. Please reach out to the couple to help coordinate.

Could you give me a link to your wedding registry?

You can find our complete wedding registry here on our website (and purchase directly from our wishlist) under the “Registry” tab.

Where should we bring/send out wedding gifts?

Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 1083-304 Gennett Circle, Fort Mill, SC 29715 or bring it to the wedding. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

9:30am - Breakfast 10:30am - Hair and Make-Up Starts 12:30pm - Brunch/Appetizers 2:30pm - First Look 3:30pm - Ceremony 4pm - Photo Time 6pm - Dinner reception 7:45pm - Cake Time 8:30pm - Game/Movie Night

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

We are hoping that you will stay with us at the cabin. If you will not be staying, we hope that you will join us for breakfast and/or Brunch and appetizers, followed by the rest of the day. If you have other plans prior in the morning and afternoon, we recommend arriving at the ceremony venue by 2:45-3:00pm to ensure you have enough time to find your seats.

What time will your wedding after party end?

Our reception will end around 8pm. We invite guest to join us for the after party. The after party will be at the cabin and you are welcome to leave or go to bed whenever you see fit. We will be going to Dollywood the next morning.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Just enough time for photos to be taken and enough the environment or scenery.

Could you suggest places to eat, drink, and see while I’m in town for your wedding?

Check out the “Things to Do” section of our travel page to see some of our favorite spots to eat, drink, and explore in our home away from home.

Will there be other events to attend on the wedding weekend?

All of our guest are invited to join us the day after the wedding at Dollywood Amusement Park.

Am I allowed to take photos at your wedding?

We kindly ask that you keep our wedding “unplugged” and refrain from taking any photos or videos at our wedding ceremony. We want our guest to truly be in the moment with us during this special day.

Is it okay to post wedding photos on social media?

Please respect our privacy and don’t share photos of our wedding on socail media, as we would like to make a formal wedding announcement with our professional images. After those have been posted you are more than welcome to post yours. We would love to see our wedding through everyone else’s eyes.
