It all started in 2020 when Danielle decided it was a good idea to start nursing at a prison. After a quick run at EIFW, Danielle ended up at EI- Edmonton Institution,

One day, Danielle was lucky enough to meet an officer, who graciously took her on medication rounds. The next day, she got a phone call that she might have COVID, as she had been in contact with Kyle Boyer, an officer who reported symptoms. Danielle messaged Kyle on Facebook to ask him if he actually had COVID (update: he did not) so she could get tested, but he never responded to her.

Flash forward to two years later...

Danielle had a housewarming party for her new roommate and Kyle showed up. While he spent a good part of the evening avoiding Danielle, he finally broke the ice, apologizing for not responding to that Facebook message all those years ago.

After that party, Kyle invited Danielle on a first date, where they ended the night at Queen Elizabeth Park, on a hill overlooking the city. On the night Kyle proposed, he told Danielle that he knew she was the one when they sat on that hill.

And it's true. After the first date, Danielle and Kyle became inseparable. They took their first vacation not long after, meeting each other's families on the east coast. And the rest is history!

They are so excited to be here today, bringing two families together and starting a new chapter together!
