PEI has so many incredible beaches that you really can't go wrong. We've narrowed them down to some of our favourites.
Red Point Beach
If you're up for a full tour of PEI, start at the east tip of the Island, at Red Point.
Directions: 249 Red Point Park Rd, Elmira, PE C0A 1K0
Basin Head
Keeping to the east side, take a trip to Basin Head for the "singing sands".
Directions: Basin Head Provincial Park, 318 Basin Head Rd, Souris, PE C0A 2B0
Tracadie Beach
Probably at the top of our list for swimming locations!
Directions: Tracadie Beach, 159 Beach Rd #124, York, PE C0A 1P0
Brackley Beach
Located within PEI's National Park, Brackley is a short drive from our wedding venue, and worth it! Because of its location within the park, you have access to showers/change rooms so it's a great spot for a family day trip.
Directions: Brackley Beach, Prince Edward Island National Park, 4020 Brackley Point Rd, North Rustico, PE C0A 1X0
Greenwich Beach
Part of PEI's National Park, Greenwich, and their incredible dunes are worth the drive. They also have an interpretation centre and three hiking trails (ranging from 1.25-4.5 km).
Directions: Greenwich Beach, Prince Edward Island
Cavendish Beach
Located in PEI's National Park and close by to many other attractions, should you decide to spend a few days exploring!
Directions: 590 Graham's Ln, New Glasgow, PE C0A 1N0
Thunder Cove
One of our favourite spots with fewer tourists, tons of caves to explore and lots of sand bars to get you into the water!
Directions: Thunder Cove Beach, Prince Edward Island C0B 1M0
We LOVE to eat, so hope to steer you in the right direction while you visit our Island!
Merchantman Fresh Seafood and Oyster Bar
Slaymakers and Nichols Gastro Pub
Peakes Quay + Floating Dock (Multiple Restaurants)
We've tried to capture something for everyone with this list.
Shining Waters
A great way to spend a hot day on PEI, particularly if you have little ones! You can also bring in food, so plan for a picnic :)

Sandspit
A bit more fun for the "big kids", Sandspit (located in Cavendish) has a ton of rides, mini golf and go karts.
