Danielle and Benny first officially met back in November of 2020 at a covid wedding for Danielle’s cousin and Benny’s best friends. Benny quickly took notice of Danielle and made his way over to her table with his friends to chat. However, at that time Danielle was not looking to date anyone. They had added each other on Instagram and Benny may have slid into Danielle’s dm’s a couple of times but nothing came of it.

A year later, at the second wedding of Danielle’s cousin and Benny’s best friends, Danielle and Benny met in person again. Thanks to Danielle’s sister Valerie, Benny had finally got a little push to go talk to Danielle at the after party. Danielle and Benny spent the entire night talking at the bar and at the end of the night they exchanged numbers. Benny was eager to see Danielle again and planned their first date the following weekend. They had such a great time, they made plans for the weekend after. They continued going on dates for four months, but Danielle was very guarded and didn’t want to get hurt again. Benny was willing to wait until she was ready. Danielle soon realized what she had right in front of her and couldn’t imagine losing such an amazing, thoughtful, and caring man. So, on their first trip to Florida, April 9, 2022, Benny asked Danielle to be his girlfriend!

Fast forward, an amazing year and a couple of months filled with so much traveling, love, laughter, and happiness, Benny got down on one knee and asked Danielle to marry him in Lake George with the most beautiful background of the lake and mountains. Danielle made the easiest decision of her life by saying “YES!” And together they started to build their “happily ever after.”
