From high school to now, we've grown up together—and we’re so excited to keep growing side by side.We met in high school during A Midsummer Night's Dream—Shane played Lysander, a love interest lead, and Danielle was the lead stage manager. Friendship turned into flirting, and before we knew it, we had a connection neither of us could ignore. From the start, it felt like something invisible was pulling us toward each other.Since then, we’ve built a life in Tallahassee, going to college at Florida State, getting our dog Prince, and filling our days with neighborhood walks. During our San Diego summers, we spend our time with family, at the beach, and cheering on the Padres in the city.On July 5th, 2024, Shane proposed at Guajome Park, a place full of early memories and meaning, to both of us. After Danielle said yes, friends and family jumped out from the bushes (literally) to celebrate—it was magical, hilarious, and so perfectly us.We can’t wait to celebrate with you in the most fun, relaxed, love-filled way we know how.

Alyssa is Shane’s sister-in-law and has become a close friend to Danielle over the years. She’s thoughtful, caring, and a beautiful example of love and partnership.

Shane and Danielle met Grayson at FSU as well - He is always at the center of the fun — the guy who keeps the night going. He’s supportive, easygoing, and brings great energy wherever he is.

Nyla is Shane’s younger cousin and when her and Danielle met, they connected instantly. She’s kind, brave, and one of the most genuinely loving people you’ll ever meet.

We’re so excited to celebrate with you! For our summer wedding, we’re envisioning a Formal Garden Party vibe—think pastel, classy, and comfortable. Our wedding palette leans toward pastels, light tones, and florals, and we’d love for guests to dress in a similar spirit. Ladies: We’d love to see floor-length or long midi dresses that feel flowy and romantic. Think soft colors, florals, texture, and movement—perfect for a garden celebration. Men: Suits are encouraged (no tuxes), with or without ties—whatever feels most you! Light-colored suits like linen, tan, or navy are especially welcome, but if you choose black, feel free to add personality with a pastel shirt or tie. Downtown Vista has many things to offer, including cute shops, a movie theatre, a pottery painting store, and many amazing places to eat. HIGHLY recommend the Yellow Deli, it's where Shane and I had one of our first dates! Some other good places to eat are Mikko Sushi, Shaks, and Handels for dessert!

Oceanside

Take a stroll down the Oceanside Pier after a nice walk on the beach! Find food trucks, bike riding, and fun activities right on the beach as well!

Go visit the historic Top Gun House! It has been renovated and moved inside a new hotel right on the beach and you can now visit the tiny sandwich shop inside the house from the movie!

Sunset Market happens every Thursday night in the streets of Oceanside. There are food and shops set up, with live music and activities! Take a short walk from there and stroll the beach at night.

Carlsbad

In June, the flowers are in full bloom! The Carlsbad Flower Fields are gorgeous to walk around and right next to it is the Outlet Mall, where there are many fun places to shop!

Just a few steps away from downtown, Carlsbad State Beach is a beautiful, relaxing beach, where you can stroll on the sand, surf, or just get some sun! It is lively, popular, and a great place to watch a California sunset.

Downtown Carlsbad is one of my favorite places to go! There are lots of great restaurants, coffee shops, and little shops to go into. Exploring the Village, where they offer many shops, is always fun for a little shopping. They also have a Farmer's Market every Wednesday at 2:30PM!

San Diego

Head into the city and walk along the San Diego Harbor! You can visit the old ships and submarines there, have dinner on the water, or visit the Kissing Sailor Statue next to the USS Midway!

San Diego's Wild Animal Park is one of the most famous zoo's in the world! Right near the city, you can visit exotic animals and explore the beautiful grounds of the zoo.

Do a walking tour of the USS Midway. It is an extensive tour that goes all throughout the ship and ends at the top deck, where you can see aircraft and a gorgeous view of the city!

The Hotel Del is a gorgeous, historic hotel on the island of Coronado! It sits right on the beach and there are tons of fun things to do around town as well.

The Lafayette is a beautiful hotel in San Diego, where you can grab specialty drinks, yummy food, and view the grounds. The pool and the lobby are stunning!

Head to the Gaslamp Quarter for a fun nightlife! There are pubs, restaurants, and bars to enjoy every night. We love The Field (Irish pub) and walking the streets at night, it's a true city feel.

Seaport Village is a quaint area of San Diego, where you can walk by the sea, stop into little shops, and enjoy views of the Harbor.

Visit Balboa Park, where they offer museums, shows, food, and gorgeous grounds!

This bridge is very cool to go to, and near Balboa Park. Take scenic pictures and enjoy the swaying of the bridge, as this is something even locals don't know about!

In the streets of San Diego, visit Harper's Topiary Garden, where you can view the hard work and dedication of a homeowner there, who puts in the work to create artwork out of bushes! Another gem of hidden San Diego :)
