The year was 2018, Christmas was approaching, two lonely singles back on dating apps hoping to find a genuine connection. While scrolling Plenty Of Fish after many swipes Josh and Danielle both swiped right and matched on each other. Josh made the first move and sent a cheesy pick up message. They got to talking and started to build a friendship. Over the next few weeks Josh asked Danielle out a few times and she continued turning him down. With the year coming to an end they finally met up at Uno’s and bonded over their love for beer and wings. Over the next weeks Danielle spent a lot of time in Rhode Island visiting Josh and sneaking around from her parents as she still lived at home. On Valentine’s Day weekend we introduced each other to our families and everything went great so the following day Josh asked Danielle to be his girlfriend with the reasoning “ everything is half off so I can get better deals on flowers and chocolate” she said yes! They had an amazing year going on vacations to Maine, spending countless days at the beach and riding on the motorcycle. When 2020 hit and they decided it was time to move in together even though Danielle was always at Josh's house anyways. The move happened in March. With a pandemic hitting, job changes and not being able to do much Danielle and Josh were able to overcome it all. The day came where Josh was ready to find a house to start our lives together. When he brought the idea to Danielle, she was not keen on it but humoured him. After weeks of stressful searching they came across a home in Ashford, CT that would fit their needs and at that moment Josh knew how he was going to propose! Weeks went by, and the day finally came. After signing the papers and taking the pictures in front of their new house with the sold sign, Josh dropped to one knee and proposed.
The rest is history!
