Anna Grace came out in full force to support Ryan at the state cross-country meet.

The first Thanksgiving Danielle and Ryan spent together was in Anchorage in 2012. Ryan forgot to pack clothes warm enough for watching the northern lights and had to borrow Danielle's father's oversized coat and very cool hat.

Celebrating the beginning of our senior year at Interlochen Arts Academy in Interlochen, MI, which also happened to be the first year we'd spend together in person as a couple.

Our first solo trip together was to New York City for college auditions. If memory serves, Danielle was accepted to all of them and Ryan was accepted to, well, none of them.

Shortly after our ten-year (or two-and-a-half!) anniversary, Ryan finally planned a proposal at sunset on the top of Flattop Mountain. The weather and the pandemic, however, were not informed of his plans, and heavy snowfall and an untimely covid infection cause a quick change of plans, and we were engaged on a lovely little snow-covered bridge in South Anchorage.

On the day we got engaged, the snow was almost as deep as Ginger was tall, and she was only minimally focused on the camera.
