Danielle & Ryan met at Blarney's Cafe in Willimantic, CT on September 20, 2019. They often refer to that night as the destiny night. That night, they were sitting just 2 seats apart at the bar, staring each other down all night long, longing for one of them to make the first move. Unfortunately, neither of them did, but they know now how much they both wanted something to transpire.

Months later, they found each other again online, just prior to the start of the pandemic. Unfortunately again, they talked for a bit and then grew apart.

Third times the charm! On November 9th, 2020, Danielle & Ryan found each other online again. And this time, they clicked immediately. They talked for a month until Danielle finally prompted him to ask her on a date.

On December 5th, 2020, the couple met for their first date at Wood N Tap in Enfield, CT for drinks. With restaurants closing early due to Covid-19, they sat in Ryan's car for hours until 3am talking, neither one of them wanting to leave. From there, they went on several more dates, until January 23, 2021, when they made their relationship official.

Throughout the next 2.5 years, they grew closer and closer, with some of of the best times and hardest times happening in this timespan. In this time, they have gone on amazing trips to the Berkshires, Massachusetts; Providence, Rhode Island; Tampa & Orlando, Florida; Old Orchard Beach and Portland, Maine; and Atlanta, Georgia! They embraced their love for traveling with one another.

On August 12th, 2023, Danielle & Ryan got engaged on the beach in Old Orchard Beach, Maine, on a weekend trip honoring the life of Danielle's grandmother.

We are looking forward to our life together, and continuing to learn and grow with one another. Thank you for being a part of our story!
