What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal cocktail attire.
What will the weather be like this time of year?
It's early spring! It'll be warm(ish) with a slight breeze.
Where are the ceremony and the reception taking place?
They are both taking place at the Lodge at Mountain Springs Lake Resort!
Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?
The ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting), and the reception will be indoors.
What happens after the ceremony?
After the ceremony, guests can make their way into the courtyard for cocktail hour where they can snack on finger-foods until we are ready to get into the reception hall! Pictures with the bride and groom may also be taken at this time.
Does your wedding have a theme?
No, not really. Just come dressed however you feel best!
Are there other wedding events I can attend?
Text me for details if you want 'em ;P
What should I do if I cant make it?
You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP "no," so we can plan accordingly.
How do I get to the venue?
You could probably just put it into your GPS and it will take you right there, but if you are still unsure, send us a message and we will get back to you with explicit and clear instructions!
What time should I arrive?
We recommend that you arrive an hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled! Ceremony start time is 5:30. At the latest, please arrive at 5:00pm.
Where should guests park? Is parking free?
Guests will be directed into the correct parking lot for free parking.
Are kids welcome?
If you were explicitly told that your child can come, then you are good to go! However if you were not told, please do not bring him or her. We have decided to invite first cousins only, 13+. We are sorry if this inconveniences anyone.
Can I bring a date?
If your invitation says "& guest", or "+1", then yes, you are welcome to bring a date. If it does not say that, then ask!
Do you have a hotel block for guests? Where do you recommend I stay?
We have blocked out 15 rooms at the Hampton Inn & Suites. If you are unable to get a room there, Fairfield Inn and Suites is also nearby. If you are looking to make a vacation out of this weekend, we can also suggest staying at the hotel at Camelback Resort, where you can enjoy Aquatopia's Indoor Waterpark!
When is the RSVP deadline? Do I need to mail back my RSVP or can I do it online?
Deadline is March 25th! You can RSVP right on this website, by clicking on the "RSVP" tab and following the instructions there!
Are the ceremony and reception location wheelchair accessible?
Accommodations will be made for any guest who needs them!
Will food and drinks be served at the reception? What kind of food?
Your meal will be based on what you choose when you RSVP! There is a chicken dish, a fish dish, a beef dish, and a veggie option! There will also be an open bar!
Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?
If you let us know ahead of time of any dietary restrictions, we will do our best to accommodate.
Where are you registered?
We are registered on TheKnot! If you click on the "Registry" page, you will be able to see what we have on our registry.
Will transportation be provided between to/from the hotel?
Yes! The bus will arrive at the hotel at 4:30pm, and will leave promptly at 4:45pm, to arrive at the venue at 5:00pm. At the end of the night, the bus will leave the venue at 11:15pm, and arrive back at the hotel at 11:30pm.
May I take a centerpiece/candle/flowers home as a souvenir?
Possibly. If multiple people want to, we would have to think of a fair way to decide who gets to take one home!
Can I take a post pictures of the wedding on social media?
We ask that the ceremony be "digital free", unless we have given explicit permission for you to take pictures. We want everyone to live in the moment. As for the reception, take as many pictures as you want! We just ask that you refrain from posting anything on social media until we have had a chance to do so ourselves.
I still have questions, what is the best way to contact you?
You can text one of us, someone in our wedding party, or our mom's. We are happy to answer any question that you may have!
