Yes, we have a room block at The Salem Waterfront Hotel. Check out the Accommodations page for more information. There are several other Hotels in the area that are available however there is no room block at them. Reservations are first come first serve. We recommend you book a room as soon as possible. If you are staying for the long weekend, there are several great Airbnb/VRBO options in the surrounding beach towns of Gloucester and Marblehead as well.

It is a short 10 - 15 minute drive from Salem to Misselwood. There will be no shuttle bus, but hotel guests staying at The Salem Waterfront Hotel, The Hawthorne Hotel and the Hampton Inn will be provided a Lyft code for transportation to and from Misselwood to the Hotel areas. Pick up and drop off points are limited to Misselwood and the Hotel areas.

Arrival time at Misselwood begins at 4:30 pm. Early guest arrivals will not be accommodated.

Yes, there is parking at the Misselwood Estate and an overflow lot across the street in the Frates Hall Lot, part of Endicott College. Guests can park on the lawn at Misselwood (fits up to 100 cars) or across the street in the Frates Hall Lot. Please note: Cars can not be left overnight at the Misselwood Estate, but can be left overnight in the Frates Hall Lot. If you plan on leaving a car overnight, please park in the Frates Hall Lot. There are Parking attendants from 3:00 – 6:30 pm and a Detail officer from 6:30 – 10:30 pm.

The ceremony is outdoors on the lawn of Misselwood, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The reception will be inside a temperature controlled tent that has concrete flooring.

Of course, we can’t guarantee anything, but Spring in Massachusetts is quite lovely. Warm in the day, cool in the evenings. Temps can be anywhere between 60 - 75 degrees during the day and can drop down to the 50’s once the sun goes down. Since Misselwood is right on the Atlantic Ocean, there may be a sea breeze.

Yes, Misselwood has handicap and wheelchair accessibility. The wedding coordinator at Misselwood will be able to direct guests for handicap accessibility.

Since we have large extended families, we’ve chosen to limit our guest list to eighteen years and older, with the exception of the Flower Girls and Ring Bearers. Let us know if there is anything we can do to help with any child care needs.

There is no formal after party but we plan on doing something after the reception. Either ordering pizza's at one of the hotels or checking out a local bar in downtown Salem.

There is no formal Welcome Party Thursday evening but we will be gathering somewhere around 8 pm. Likely a restaurant/bar in Pickering Wharf or at The Salem Waterfront Hotel bar.
