One of our favorite places to adventure - there's something for everyone in Estes Park, including Rocky Mountain National Park! Animals, epic drives, hiking trails, fun mountain downtown, high elevation views, and more.
Rocky Mountain National Park has an entrance fee (senior rates, annual passes for local/national parks, and motorcycle pricing are available). There is also a timed entry reservation system during certain hours of the day in the summer. Depending on where you would like to visit and what time of day you plan to arrive, you might need a timed entry reservation to enter the park.
Local beer, indoor plus patio seating, and rotating food trucks onsite!
The Morrison area is nestled on the edge of the Rocky Mountains and features the breathtaking red rocks throughout the landscape. Checkout the quaint downtown (heads up it gets busy on the weekends) or venture into the surroundings at Red Rocks Park & Amphitheater! There are trails if you're looking for a scenic walk or hike. You can also check out the amphitheater - if there isn't a show you can walk on in or pickup tickets to some entertainment while you're in town.
A few upcoming events:
Sat 8/9 Yoga on the Rocks AM
Sat 8/9 Slightly Stoopid PM
Thurs 8/14 Mt. Joy
Fri 8/15 My Morning Jacket
Mon 8/18 Movie on the Rocks: Shrek 2
There's so much to offer in Golden, Colorado! A favorite stop is The Golden Mill - featuring several restaurants (food hall style) with a wall of self-serve beverage taps. There's seating both indoors and out; the patio is great!
Nearby you will also find downtown Golden, the Coors brewery, and Clear Creek running through the heart of the town.
Take a scenic railroad ride through the Rocky Mountains! You can purchase tickets online in advance and enjoy an open-air mountain train ride. There are also add-on activities for adults and kids alike.
Looking for a fun food and beverage stop closer to downtown Denver? Check out the Avanti food hall!
