Our Wedding

As most of you know I have been going upstate to my families summer house my whole life every summer and it was always my happy place. One winter back in 2016 i decided to go upstate for winter break. I was supposed to waitress at villa room on New Year’s Eve but the gig fell through. I decided to go out with a friend to Table and Tap to celebrate the new year. I saw Dylan from across the bar and thought he was so handsome. As I was telling my friend this he walks over. He said right when I walked in he was drawn to my eyes and had to talk to me. He was friends with my friend so he came over and decided to talk to us. We hit it off right away and we were each others first kiss in 2017. Little did I know 7 years later he would be my forever. We both were single parents and weren’t looking for anything serious. Shane was 2 and Luke was 4. Who would have known that soon enough we would become a blended family. It was more then both of us could ever have dreamed of. I was living in Philadelphia at time. We did long distance for one year , he would drive 3.5 hours every single week to visit us and I would drive the same distance every weekend just so we can see each other. After a year of long distance I decided to make the move with Shane. I always wanted to live upstate one day, I was a country girl at heart and knew my happy place would one day become my home. Let’s just say the rest is history!
