In September 2023, Danielle and Jake went out with mutual friends to a breakout room. Just as the friends had hoped (and plotted), they hit it off and exchanged phone numbers.

They began to get to know each other, asking questions about their walk with Jesus, work life, friends, hobbies, and favorite activities. By October, they decided they were exclusively dating. For the next 9 months they went on many dates and adventures! Their favorites were walking through Christmas lights at Powell Gardens, visiting the Zoo on Valentine’s Day, going fishing at the lake, and visiting many Mexican restaurants!

On June 1, they went with Jake’s family to Canada for a fishing trip. They went for a walk near the lake, and Jake pulled out a ring. She said yes!

Since then, they’ve caught many fish, hiked some mountains in Montana, and enjoyed time with family and friends.

They are excited to join their lives together and continue going on adventures and spending time with friends and family!
