The couple met at Howl at the Moon in Kansas City. Kurt was in town for a bachelor party (thankfully not his own) and DanE was there to dance the night away.

Two weeks later, DanE drove to Kearney, NE to see Kurt.

Kurt visited Kansas City, and the two finally had their first official date. From there it was routine every two weeks one of the two made the 5 hour drive to the others home town.

After a beautiful (& long) walk through the Kauffman Gardens, Kurt proposed.
