This love story began back in the halls of Bonner &amp; Prendie. Dennis was a freshman just trying to survive his first year of high school when he started noticing Danielle, a sophomore who always passed him in the hallway after fifth period. Danielle would be walking to her next class with a friend, unaware that Dennis was quietly developing a crush. He didn’t even know her name yet—and was far too shy to ask. Fast forward to May 2016, near the end of the school year. Both Danielle and Dennis had plans to attend the Zac Brown Band concert in Camden with their own groups of friends. Like everyone else, they planned to take public transportation and tailgate beforehand. Luckily for Dennis, Danielle ended up going with some of his cousins, putting them in the same group for the night. They didn’t talk much at the concert, but they kept catching each other’s eye glancing back and forth. After that night, they continued to see each other and occasionally hung out at his cousin Joannie’s house. Quiet evenings spent on the front porch or back deck became the place where their connection slowly grew. One night, it was just the two of them sitting outside, and they both felt the spark. Not long after, Dennis finally messaged Danielle—and they’ve been together ever since. After their first official date at Pica’s in Upper Darby, the rest was history. After high school, Danielle and Dennis attended colleges just ten minutes apart. Danielle studied nursing at Neumann University, while Dennis attended Williamson College of the Trades, studying Power Plant Technology. During Dennis’ time at Williamson, they were only allowed to see each other on weekends but distance and time only made their relationship stronger. Today, Danielle and Dennis own a home together in Springfield, PA, where Dennis proposed and asked Danielle to start the next chapter of their lives together. When they’re not at home, you can find them at Philly sporting events, visiting the shore, traveling, or spending time at their favorite local spots in Delco with friends and family. They can’t wait to say “I do” on April 24, 2026, and begin the next chapter—starting a family and continuing their great love story!
