Q + A

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Because the ceremony begins promptly at 2:00pm, we recommend you aim to arrive by 1:30pm to ensure you are able to comfortably arrive on time.

What if I am late to the ceremony?

The ceremony will promptly start at 2:00pm. If you happen to be running late, please DO NOT walk down the aisle to find your seat. If the bridal party is still preceding, please wait in the foyer of the church before entering. If the bridal party has already preceded, please find a seat by walking on the outer side of the pews and not walk down the middle aisle of the pews.

Can I take photos and video during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you take pictures when the priest tells you to take pictures. There will be 30 seconds where you are permitted to take pictures of the bride and groom up at the altar. We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. Our photographer and videographer will be capturing the ceremony and we do not want any phones or cameras in our photos!

What is the dress code?

The dress code is Black Tie Encouraged

What does “Black-Tie Encouraged” mean?

“Black-Tie Encouraged” means that guests have the option of wearing their most formal attire (aka that old bridesmaids dress that’s been sitting in the back of your closet) but may also choose to wear a formal suit or cocktail dress instead. Generally, a black tie encouraged dress code means that the couple and their wedding party will be dressed in black tie. It’s therefore courteous for guests to reflect this level of formality in their own attire. The bridesmaids will be wearing black but that does not mean you can’t wear black, just something to keep in mind! No jeans or sneakers please. You can find examples of this attire on the guest attire tab!) & obviously if you have any fashion questions please feel free to reach out!

Can I bring a date?

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Your invitation will be made out to “{Your Name} & Guest” if a plus one has been given to you.

Are children welcome?

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. While we love all of the children in our lives, we have decided to make this an adults-only celebration.

Is there parking available?

Yes, there will be plenty of parking at the church and reception area free of charge!

What if I don’t RSVP on time?

While we’d love to accommodate you, our vendors give us a strict timeline that we need to stick to. If you do not RSVP you will not be permitted to attend our wedding.

Will there be a shuttle from the hotel?

Short answer yes. If enough people book a room at the hotel there will be a shuttle to transport guests from the hotel to the reception and from the reception back to the hotel!
