To keep a long story long,


Our story began August 2015 as freshmen at McKendree University. we became best friends right away and had an extremely close nit group of friends.


During our friendship Jaxon and I could always be seen on campus with Jordan, Alexia, and Qian’te (Stump). We spent many holiday breaks with Jordan’s family in Chicago eating Portillo’s and deep dish pizza. We also spent many broke college kid nights walking the loop at University city. Or hitting up the free places like the science center, zoo and Grant’s farm.


Fast forward almost two years and we decided to give this friendship a different title. By our 4th year of college, we had an apartment with our friends and our crazy pup Kiba.


After college we spent the next 5 years juggling different careers and going back to school. Then, after over 6 years (yes that long) of dating, Jaxon proposed Christmas morning in front of his immediate family in Harrisburg. I (obviously) said yes and that’s why I have decided we both need to tell you our stories.




His version:


When I first met Danielle one thing stood out immediately. She had a lot of snacks in her room and she was very pretty. I often visited Danielle to “borrow” some girl scout cookies or gooey butter cake. We quickly became friends and had a great group of friends who y’all probably know.


Our early relationship was supported by our many common interests such as music, food and TV. Driving to Rally’s to get food and then binging “The Office” may not be the most exciting way to spend a friday night, but for us it was an ideal date,


We do leave our apt sometimes, especially if it is for a chance to travel. We have been to Mexico, The UK, Spain and a bunch of other places together. Danielle and I have had many adventures together over the last few years and we are looking forward to our biggest one yet, our honeymoon, And the wedding too I guess.
