Our journey began in the heart of San Antonio, Texas, where Danielle was traveling for work as a nurse. It was through a simple swipe on Hinge that our paths first crossed. Despite a rocky start—an awkward first date at a German restaurant—we felt a spark that neither of us could ignore. Even as Danielle prepared to move on to her next assignment in Idaho, our connection grew stronger.

On August 12, 2022, our love story took a charming turn. Danielle, with a heart full of affection asked Colton to be her boyfriend with a sweet gesture involving peach rings that read, “Be a peach, and be my boyfriend?” And just like that, we embraced a long-distance relationship, braving the miles between us for a year.

In August 2023, Colton took a leap of faith and moved to Florida. We began a new chapter as a little family with our beloved dogs, Willow and Teddy. The transition was smooth and filled with joy, marking the beginning of a beautiful life together.

Then, in April 2024, Colton orchestrated a magical surprise at Bok Tower Gardens for Danielle’s early birthday celebration. Surrounded by our closest friends and family, he proposed, and the moment was as enchanting as we had always dreamed.
