Please inform us of ANY allergies or diet restrictions on your RSVP. We are mindfully determined during the selection of our menu & flora. Nuts - Peanut, almond, walnut, tree nut, Dairy - Milk, butter Gluten - Wheat, barley, rye, oats Vegetarian - no meat, mostly veggies Vegan - no meat, egg, honey, etc.

Invitation says 3 o’clock meaning the arrival time. The actual ceremony should start around 3:30 PM.

See the “Hotel & Travel” webpage for hotels in Frederick, MD (15-18 min from venue). We are gathered hotel blocking under the name “Waters & Dayao Wedding” (pronounced dye-ow). Please coordinate with your family & friends how many rooms + bed sizes before contacting the hotel(s). If any hotel slot is fully booked, please call to inquire extension or check the other hotel options listed. Deadlines are May 1-9, 2025 before they open blocks back to the public. Frederick is a very popular wedding area! The town of Frederick & Mount Airy have little variety of airbnb & vrbo rental app options. Those apps may book up quickly as that area is very popular for weddings & events!

Uber, Lyft, Rideshares, Ola & Didi apps are available during the day, however may be limited after 9pm. Otherwise, please refrain from driving under the influence & choose a designated sober driver. TBD if a shuttle bus will be available. If enough guests on their RSVP are willing to contribute, then we will aid in setting it up. See the “Hotel & Travel” webpage of shuttle is confirmed. If you leave your vehicle overnight, property rules state you must pick it up by 8:30am the next day. Please no later!

There will be an open grass field on the property. You should easily find the parking tenant, who can guide you where to go or fetch the golf cart for anyone with difficult mobility. After parking, find your way down the hillside pathway toward the pond for the ceremony. If you arrive early, freely explore the pond, barn ruins, gardens, or inside air-cooled reception tent (with restroom trailer). If you arrive at ceremony time, swiftly find your seats between the pond & tent. After the ceremony, guests can retreat to barn ruins for cocktail hour or chill in reception tent, while the wedding party is getting photographed. Enjoy the view! Please do not enter the manor house or linger the driveway roundabout — owner has strict house rules + you don’t want to ruin any surprises!

If they are not listed on your RSVP, we are sincerely sorry they could not be invited. Very few exceptions were made. Please alert us on your RSVP if the invitee child(ren) will / will not be attending. Also please be mindful of the child(ren) during the ceremony and reception, especially around the open pond and alcohol consumption.

The name(s) listed on your invitation are the only guests we are expecting. When completing your RSVP, please fill out forms for the name of invitee(s) whether attending or missing out. Any names left incomplete will be assumed as not attending… We sincerely apologize we could not invite more friends & family.

Yes! The outdoor Event Tent is large enough to hold the ceremony and reception. If rain or thunder, please beware: prepare & dress comfortably. Rain boots & Umbrellas are encouraged. We can only hope any storms will pass so we all enjoy the beautiful venue grounds! *fingers crossed*

Yes, but only in designated smoking areas. All remnants must be extinguished & disposed of in designated containers or trash cans. There is likely a wedding the next day & we must keep the grounds tidy to get our security deposit back!
