It all started at Parkview's pathology lab. We were both the new hires for the summer. We started the same week and trained together. The best part of the job was seeing and getting to know each other everday.

One of my favorite memories from our time together was Matthew bringing me duck eggs. He had insider information that Chinese people liked to preserve them to eat. This was a smooth move!

Our first function together after becoming official a month before. Matthew flew down to Birmingham to go to my sorority formal...he was by far my favorite date, and it was by far my favorite function!

I often made trips home when we did long distance. My favorite Indiana season was in the fall (I have not been to a prettier place than Indiana for the fall) which is also why we decided to get married during that season.

Our first big family trip together: a cruise around the Bahamas. This trip was so special because I was able to meet Matthew's grandparents and extended family.

A milestone moment: Matthew's white coat ceremony at South University in Savannah, GA. Both of our families were there to celebrate. Being together in Savannah for Matthew's program was our first time not being long distance and truly such a sweet season of life!

We went to Poland and got to see extended family on Matthew's mom's side. Being raised around different cultures connected Matthew and I as both sets of our grandparents live outside of the US.

Our proposal! The day started gloomy but ended with a perfect golden hour sunset over a reservoir in Columbus, Mississippi. My family was in town for an intimate family celebration afterwards. It was perfect!

We are enjoying this season of life in Savannah, GA. The Lord has provided us with many blessings: church community, educational opportunities, and a beautiful city to explore. We are excited to see what the rest of our time in Savannah brings and what the next season has in store for us!
