How We Met

Grant and Danielle met at their high school in band class. Danielle was a sophomore and Grant was a senior. Danielle played the flute and Grant was in percussion. They made it official June 30, 2014!

Long Distance

When Grant and Danielle started dating, Grant had already committed to attending college out of state at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Grant and Danielle found their time in a long distance relationship to be a blessing because they learned that they never wanted to be apart.

The Proposal

Grant proposed to Danielle on Christmas Eve 2020 in Jenison, Michigan at the Grand Ravines Park at the suspension bridge. It was the best day ever! We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Our Story

Hello! My name is Kara and I'm Grant's sister. It has been a pleasure to watch both Grant and Danielle grow closer over time. I am excited to celebrate their big day and finally have a sister!

Hi everyone! My name is Carly and I’m so excited to stand next to Danielle on her big day! Danielle and I go way back to the days when our moms used to go on walks together with us in strollers. Growing up whether it was Just Dance battles or endless pool days, Danielle and I have made some amazing memories together! She’s someone I know I can always count on and it’s been such a blessing watching Danielle and Grant grow together over the years. I can’t wait to celebrate them and their future together as newlyweds!!

Hello! My name is Hannah. Danielle and I have been friends ever since meeting as kindergarteners. We've shared many wonderful experiences since then, all full of laughter. I especially remember being tennis partners and having our own secret signals and high fives. Danielle was the first of our friend group to really date. I still remember her talking about Grant and watching them interact in those beginning years. Getting to know Grant has also been a blessing. I'm so excited they found each other, and that I get to be  part of their special day!

Hello, my name is Shane Green and I was Grant's college roommate. We met freshman year thanks to Belmont's randomized room assignments. Ever since, we have been friends. We both survived the long distance dating struggles while at Belmont. Clearly it was worth it because Grant stood by my side when I married my high school sweetheart and now I get to return the favor by standing by his side when he marries Danielle!

What's up, I'm Tom! My first experience with Grant and Danielle as a duo was beating them in euchre with Jackson, and ever since then they have continued to bring joy to my life. I'm excited to see how they continue to bring joy to each other as well.
