During the spring break of our junior year, we hiked to see the frozen Treasure Falls in Pagosa Springs, where Lance's parents live.

While Lance visited Albuquerque, we enjoyed visiting one of our favorite places-the botanical gardens-after finishing our junior year of college.

Danika took a break from studying for the MCAT to enjoy kayaking, one of our favorite activites in Pagosa Springs.

At the beginning of our senior year, Danika visited Canyon, Texas where we enjoyed cheering on Lance's West Texas A&M football team.

Near the end of the fall semester of our senior year we enjoyed looking at Christmas lights in the botanical gardens.

Lance graduated from West Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in computer science.

A week later, Danika graduated from the University of New Mexico's Combined BA/MD degree program.

Enjoying being outdoors for the TEXAS Outdoor Musical the summer before Lance began graduate school and Danika began medical school.

Celebrated Danika's white coat ceremony, the first step of her medical school journey at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine.

Enjoyed an Isotopes game before Lance left to begin his master's degree at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX while working for Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

We spent our first time seeing each other since starting graduate school at the balloon fiesta in Albuquerque.

Lance is currently working at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory while transitioning to a PhD degree in computer science. Danika is currently finishing her second year of medical shool and transitioning into the PhD portion of her Combined MD/PhD degree.
