Our Story
How we met
We met on an ordinary day at work. I was new, and he had just become a boss. Neither of us was good at flirting, but eventually, he asked me to go golfing. I wasn’t sure if it was a date, and he didn’t even think I’d show up. But I did, and that led to our first real date, where he opened every door, walked on the dangerous side of the sidewalk, and stayed off his phone the whole time. I never knew romance until then. We stayed out until 1 a.m., and that’s when I knew I loved him.
Five months later, as the sun rose over the beach, he asked me out officially. We waited because of work, but those months showed us that we weren’t looking for something casual. We were building something real. A year and a half later, I said yes to the most gentle, loving, and romantic man I’ve ever known. I can’t wait to see him as a father—someone our son can look up to, and someone our daughter will know exactly how to be treated.
