WELCOMEWelcome to our wedding website! We are pleased that you are considering blessing us with your presence at our wedding and thank you for taking the time to view the following pages. To start, we wanted to share with you the prospective date and location of our upcoming nuptials.Since we consider ourselves to be worldly people, it was a no-brainer that we would choose a destination wedding. Last summer we spent some time visiting the USA, Caribbean and Mexico and decided that our destination of choice would be Orlando, Florida, USA. At this time, we ask you to save the date, whilst we figure out all the essentials, that will aid us in making this a vacation and wedding to remember. So, start saving for 2nd August 2016; we look forward to seeing you there!

From the Beginning....

Our Story  Her Version

 Running late for work and sitting in her car, contemplating getting out. A silver vehicle came speeding towards her. She stared and wondered, "why on earth someone would be in such a hurry to get to work?" He exited his car, rushing around it, opening what seemed like all doors, and from each grabbing an item. "Hmmm" she thought, "he's kind of cute". She waited for him to leave and got out of her car and walked towards his to inspect his 'potential', "clean, tidy, he carried a briefcase and his shirt was well ironed", "not bad" she thought, and merrily went on her way. 

Our Story His Verison

Having admired her form a far for over a year, the time had come. Knowing she wouldn't possibly date a person she worked with, leaving this job created the perfect opportunity to do what he had wanted to do for some time and finally ask her out. He sent a what's app full of small talk "enjoying the weather", "what are you doing for the summer?"' And then finally he plucked up the courage to ignore her icy work demeanour and ask the big question "what you up to for the evening?" Confused by her response of "chilling with a friend", he knew he had to be more direct, because regardless of how intelligent she truly was, she just wasn't getting it. "I have to be more direct" he thought. "We should go out sometime. Even for the cinema... We could get something to eat? Anywhere you would recommend?" She did make a recommendation, and liking the choice she made, he made the choice to make her his wife.

The Proposal

Week two of our summer vacation our ship docked in the Bahamas. Unbeknown to Danise this would be the location for the proposal. The day had been spent linking up with an old university friend of Danise's and being Bahamian for the day. After an exhausting day, they spent the early ours before reboarding the ship hanging out at a local hotel sucking up their free wifi, Dwight suggested going for a walk. Being her usual self, Danise declined, deciding that walking around at 4am was hardly something she would normally do. Eventually, due to it now being her decision and not his, she stated "I thought we were going for a walk." Afraid of her arch nemesis' mosquitos and sandflies, they braved the beach and walked toward the pier. It was pitch black and all you could see was the lights from their cruise ship in the distance.Asking if she was sure if she wanted to spend the rest of her life with him, Dwight slipped a beautiful diamond ring onto Danise's engagement finger. Shocked and surprised (he'd done really well choosing the ring all by himself) for the first time, she was speechless. He took that as a yes and now they are both looking forward to being blessed with many, many years of marriage.

We have been able to negotiate with various providers great options and group rates that will hopefully suit all our guests needs.
