Our Story

Boy meets girl, boy and girl have secret crush that last three years, boy and girl fall in love. That’s the classic love story, right? Elle and I met at Ringgold Church in 2016. Funny enough, we both thought we were out of each other’s league and carried on with our own lives. Three years passed, and so much had changed… we both had been in relationships that failed miserably and we both were finishing up college. Life just seemed chaotic…and yet, one thing remained — we still secretly liked each other. All it took was one nervous instagram message and one coffee date to seal the deal. Since then we’ve been inseparable!

All jokes aside, neither one of us knew the type of love we were missing out on until we met each other. We are so excited for the journey before us, and praying God blesses our relationship and uses it for His glory.

The Proposal

"I wanted the proposal to feel like it came straight out of a hallmark movie. What better way to accomplish that than on a Christmas tree farm in December at sunset? The only question was, how would I surprise Elle? It took months of planning, but I was able to convince Elle that my sister wanted to build clientele for her photography business, and use us as models for her business ads. When the time came, DonnaJo (my sister) asked if Elle could do a Christmas photoshoot at a Christmas tree farm with props and what not — Elle excitedly accepted and had no clue what was coming. What Elle thought was just a normal photoshoot turned into our forever and always! " - David
