At the start of the school year in 2011, the two met in gym class. Danny saw her as she entered the gymnasium and thought her breathtaking. Darrianne saw him play basketball and thought him intriguing.

Danny was so nervous to tell Darrianne how he felt that he typed "I think I am falling in love with you" out on his IPod touch and handed it to her while walking her to her next class.

Danny was allowed to attend the football game but not the dance, Darrianne was allowed to attend the dance but not the game. The two met on the steps outside the gym before the dance and shared their first kiss.

The two dated until August 11, 2014, but after some rocky times and struggles, the two separated to go out into the world and mature on their own. Spending many years apart, but they each still held a flame for the other all that time.

After years apart from each other, they still loved each other and this was expressed when one day, seemingly out of the blue, the two began talking to each other online.

Danny, with the help of his father and Darrianne, moves across the country to be with Darrianne again. They rekindle their relationship.

They two purchase a house together in Carlsbad.

Danny proposed to Darrianne at the same place he gave her his senior ring all those years ago; the high school track.
