Wedding Party

David Bozeman
David Bozeman - Best Man
David is my father. He has been a fantastic role model and a consistent source of love and support throughout my life. He is responsible for my love and appreciation of the natural world, my fly casting accuracy, and my desire to better myself every day. I have beaten him many times in ping pong but never in H.O.R.S.E. Having him as my Best Man was an easy choice. David enjoys craft beer, Jesse Winchester, and afternoon naps. He hates Barry Manilow.
David Phillips
David Phillips - Groomsman
Dave is a long and loyal friend, and we've had many adventures together. We share a love for the Vols, SEC football, and Krispy Kreme doughnuts, and a mutual dislike of James Franklin. I love Dave because he is fully invested in his friends' lives. He is caring, intentional, and a great listener. Leading Young Life at Clinton High School alongside Dave will forever be one of my greatest honors. Dave and I were partners in perhaps the finest game of spikeball ever played, when we defeated other groomsmen Tyler and Clark in septuple overtime while on spring break in 2014. Dave enjoys handcrafting wooden kitchen tables, rooting for Manchester City FC, and cereal after dark.
Taylor Lane
Taylor Lane - Groomsman
I hardly knew Taylor when we became roommates in 2011, but that changed quickly when I became his favorite wrestling opponent (read: victim). I knew Taylor was a ride-or-die friend when he agreed to participate in a 24-piece pizza-eating challenge less than a week after moving in. I love Taylor because he is the hardest worker I know -- if something needs to be done, Taylor does it. He asks the right questions and gives the best advice, even when you don't think you need it. I never appreciated how clean our kitchen was until he moved out (Thanks, man). Taylor enjoys diet colas, serving those around him, and the West Wing.
Clark "Big Tips" Vicary
Clark "Big Tips" Vicary - Groomsman
I met Clark at Frontier Ranch in 2012, but it seems like we've been friends for longer than that. When he moved into our apartment the following year, many shenanigans ensued. Clark is the best band-mate anyone could ever ask for. You've got to be careful if you're nearby when he sings because you just might fall in love. I've never seen anyone throw the frisbee quite as well as Clark can, and he was personally knighted "The Tiger Woods of Frisbee Golf" by Ben Rector. Clark enjoys Tennessee Titans victories, comfortable bedding, and Michael Scott. Please ask him about his nickname.
Austin Witt
Austin Witt - Groomsman
Austin and I came to know each other when we both transferred to Oak Ridge High School in 2009, but we didn't become close friends until college. I love Austin because he so genuinely cares about everyone around him. He loves serving people and is attending medical school so that he may provide medical care to rural communities as a physician. Austin is the guy that brings along a camera when no one else thinks to, and I'm glad he has documented many of our adventures. I have never witnessed a more dedicated or involved wedding dancer than Austin, and there is at least a 60% chance he rips his pants on the dance floor at our reception. Austin enjoys all things UT, various forms of pork BBQ, and can grow an incredible mustache.
Tyler Roberts
Tyler Roberts - Groomsman
I didn't know Tyler very well when we first became roommates, but I'm really glad he decided to live with us. Tyler and I spent a lot of time shooting my airsoft rifle at our neighbors' apartment windows, performing trick shots with his Red Ryder BB gun in the parking lot, and watching Top Gear reruns. We also became very adept at launching water balloons from hotel balconies during multiple spring break trips to Panama City Beach, FL. I love Tyler because he is in constant pursuit of knowledge and growth. It's been a pleasure watching him grow -- both throughout and since our college careers. Tyler enjoys supercars, cold spaghettios (preferably straight out of the can), and the Avett Brothers.
Steven Ebert
Steven Ebert - Groomsman
Steve and I met at Frontier Ranch in 2012 and he has since become one of my closest friends. He is refreshingly spontaneous, and has spent many a night on couches after driving or flying hours at his own expense just to spend a weekend with friends. Steve is unbelievably talented in a variety of fields, and is constantly serving people with those talents. He flew from NYC to North Carolina to hide in the bushes with a camera while I proposed to Darby, and I am eternally thankful for that. Steve is responsible for the graphics behind the #FreeBozeman jaywalking movement of 2012, including the 4x4 photo of my face that graced the screens of ESPN's College Gameday. During one of his many trips to Knoxville, he convinced our neighbors at the Woodlands to donate spare pantry items and cooked a feast with the spoils. Steve enjoys crafting fancy sandwiches and cocktails, good skin care habits, and ordering appetizers at restaurants.
Edwin Josey
Edwin Josey - Groomsman
I have known and admired Edwin since I was in middle school. Edwin is a fantastic friend. He stands up for what he believes in and will drop everything at a moment's notice to help those in need. Edwin and I have eaten at Sweet P's BBQ hundreds of times, and were once banished from Graysville, Tennessee for inquiring about the local Melungeon community. He is responsible for my appreciation for John Prine and homemade apple pie moonshine, and is a damn fine guitarist. Edwin enjoys Southeastern U.S. history, spending time with his cat, Obie, and exploring the limits of his gluten tolerance.
