We are so excited to have you in our big day, Javea is a beautiful town and we know you will all fall in love with it, we want to make the way there as easiest as possible and we really appreciate you coming and taking the trip! That's why we want to give you as many options as possible and as much information as possible, but if we where to choose an option, we would fly to Madrid, from Madrid fly or take the speed train to Alicante and in Alicante rent a car and drive to Javea. We think it's the easiest, most comfortable and best option to be able to enjoy Javea as much as it deserves!

FROM THE US TO SPAIN

There's 3 airports you can fly to :

- Adolfo Suarez Madrid Barajas. 4 1/2 - hour drive to Javea.

- El Aeropuerto Internacional de Valencia. 1-hour and 15 mins drive to Javea.

- Aeropuerto de Alicante . 1-hour drive to Javea.

Normally flights to Madrid are cheaper since it's the capital of Spain, so we would recommend flying to Madrid!

FROM MADRID TO JAVEA

OPTIONS TO TRAVEL FROM MADRID TO JAVEA

- If you want a direct way to get from Madrid to Javea you can rent a car. Renting a car in Spain is affordable the drive from Madrid to Javea is about 4 1/2 hours.

OTHER AFFORDABLE AND QUICK OPTIONS

There are other options to get to javea that will require to go through either one of the two closest cities, Valencia or Alicante. Here are options to get to either one of these cities :

MADRID TO VALENCIA OR ALICANTE

- BY PLANE

The easiest way would be to fly from Madrid to Valencia or Madrid-Alicante (recommended)

- BY TRAIN

Spain has really nice affordable and quick speed trains that will take you from Madrid to Valencia in 2h and from Madrid to Alicante in 2h and 20 mins. Here are some speed train companies that can look up!

If you choose this train option we highly advise to book the tickets in advanced! The most common trains stations from Madrid are CHAMARTIN and ATOCHA.

FROM VALENCIA/ALICANTE TO JAVEA

Either if you chose to fly to Valencia or Alicante or taking the speed train you still need to get to Javea :) Here are the options we recommend :

- The best option is to rent a car, it is really affordable and easy since you can either pick up the car at the train station or at the airport. We recommend this option as the best one because even though we will be providing transportation to the venues on the day of the wedding and the prewedding, a car will give you a lot more freedom to move around javea and explore this beautiful town. Here are some car renting companies (but there's a lot more!)

VALENCIA TO JAVEA : 1H AND 15 MINS

ALICANTE TO JAVEA : 1H

- If you don't want to rent a car there's also buses that go from Valencia and Alicante to Javea, it does take a little longer but here are some options!

Valencia to Jávea

Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes to 2 hours and 30 minutes, depending on the service and route taken.

Alicante to Jávea

Duration: Approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 45 minutes.
