Grace was Ashley's roommate for two years in college. The two of them always went to UNW sporting events together where they'd often run into Darin.

We got to know each other well during college. We even exchanged some heartfelt, sometimes flirty, texts.

Darin was in the cities for his birthday when we decided to hangout. We weren't sure if anything would happen between us, but weren't opposed to it.

We took a leap and began dating long-distance in July. We saw each other each weekend for over 8 weeks in a row that summer.

We enjoyed time together, but truthfully, things were hard. We both had things to work on individually and driving every weekend didn't get easier. We decided to take a break at the end of November to figure out our goals.

We're SO back! We stayed in touch throughout the holidays, but in January Darin got hired at Northwestern Media. Which meant long-distance was no longer an obstacle. We started hanging out daily and began putting the pieces back together from the things that came between us.

We got to grow deeper in our knowledge of each other, what our dreams are and what life was like living only 25 minutes apart.

We celebrated Easter with Grace's family, which was when we knew we wouldn't spend another holiday apart.

We enjoy lots of Twins baseball games, especially when Jeff & Laura came to visit.

We had a blast celebrating the Johnson's! Meanwhile, Grace was anticipating their big day as we went ring shopping a few weeks prior.

He asked the question and she said YES! We couldn't be more grateful to have made it to this point. We see how clearly God had His hand in every, single detail. Let's get married!
