We met through a few mutual friends and quickly became friends ourselves—then best friends. We spent a lot of time together, laughing, talking, and getting to know each other. While he knew what he wanted pretty early on, I took a little more convincing (and may have said “no” a few times), mostly because I was scared of love. He didn’t give up. On December 23rd, we decided to take a chance on each other and officially start our relationship—complete with a very official, very serious “contract” promising loyalty and loving every flaw we had just discovered. From that moment on, he never stopped showing up, never stopped trying, and never let me down.

What started as friendship turned into something better than we could have imagined. Because of his patience and persistence, we’re now here—getting married, building a life together, and loving every moment with our baby girl. 💕
