What will my accommodations be like ?
Trevenna is made up of a collection of cottages and barns offering accommodation for up to 40 guests. In additional to this we are also hiring some luxury glamping bell tents for extra accommodation for some of our more adventurous guests and inviting those with motor homes to bring them along for the weekend. Room allocations can only be determined once all RSVP's are in. With the limited rooms, we kindly ask that guests share cottages and in a very few cases share rooms, with other guests. We will of course allocate rooms in the most appropriate and sensitive way possible but we do hope you will be flexible and understanding.
What Facilities will be provided in my room.
-Free WiFi is available in all Barns & Farm House Rooms
-All the Barns & Farm House Rooms have access to Irons and Ironing Boards
-All the Barns & Farm House Rooms have hair dryers.
-All bed linen and towels are provided.
-All the barns have fresh milk, Tea, Coffee and Sugar so you can relax and enjoy a hot drink in your new surroundings immediately on arrival.
-For our Guests there is also a Welcome Treat waiting for you in your barn, (usually a Cornish Cream Tea..!)
-St. Kitts Aromatherapy Amenities are supplied in each Bathroom for your use.
How do I get there?
We understand that Trevenna is a long way for some, but we truly believe the weekend getaway will be well worth the journey. Between us we have friends & family coming from West Sussex, Lincolnshire, Kent, Coventry, and west Cornwall. We strongly advice getting together and car sharing where possible. We are happy to help put everyone in contract nearer the time once the RSVP's are in!
If you prefer to take the train then Bodmin Parkway station would be the closet at only 10 minutes from the venue.
What time should I arrive and where do I go?
Guest arrival is 4pm on Friday 14th. Trevenna will usually have another wedding party checking out on the day of your arrival. We really do want to be ready to give you a hearty welcome once you reach us, so please do try to respect the check in time. Before 4pm the Farm Gate may be closed to allow the site to be prepared for your arrival. If you do arrive earlier, the London Inn in St. Neot village, approx 1.5 miles away should be open. We just want to be ready for you when you reach us with our Hosting Team on hand and your room ready and welcoming.
When you see our sign, drive down the lane through the gate and you will then see the barns in front of you. If you follow the car park sign you can park up and then wander down the path through the Barns towards the Farm House Bar sign. Our onsite signs will guide you! There you will find our team on hand to show you to your room.
Is there anything to do in the area while we are there?
Trevenna is located in the heart of Cornwall with so many places, beaches and walks to explore if you wish to extend your visit in the area. If there is time, a circular walk to St. Neot Village about 1.5miles away in the valley is a wholesome activity after breakfast and returning before the ceremony. Visit the beautiful medieval St. Neot Church and Doorstep Green, pick up a newspaper in the Village Stores and take a rest in the London Inn before making the return lap to Trevenna.
Should I bring a coat?
Yes! Please be advised although in June this is the Cornish Bodmin moors so please bring a light rain jacket and/or umbrella for if the weather is not on our side during the weekend. And perhaps have a smart jacket option for the wedding day itself. If the weather is poor then the celebrations will be conducted inside.
What Footwear is advised?
Grass Warning! Ladies block heels or flats are advised during your stay! You may like to pack something more weather/walking proof if you wish to take a walk around the grounds in the morning , the setting is stunning rural countryside. Perhaps bring something comfy to where in you room.

-Welcome Treat on arrival day
-Welcome Dinner in the form of a relaxed BBQ on arrival day

Some of the cottages also have a fridge and kitchenette area if you wish to bring additional snacks, however these must only be consumed in your cottage not in the communal areas outside of the rooms. More details on the kitchenette facilities can be given once room allocations are made.
Please let us know of any dietary requirements on your RSVP.
Trevenna has its own catering team with all of the food being homemade making use of local produce and their own kitchen garden.
