Q + A

Q: What hotels would you recommend in walking distance of the wedding venue?

We would suggest looking into Park MGM, which is connected to the Aria building and provides the shortest walk to the wedding & reception. Their beautiful pool provides a relaxing escape over the long weekend.

Also, only a short walk away is the as the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, a modern hotel and casino with several exceptional brunch, dinner, and late night food options.

Across the street you will find the Planet Hollywood Las Vegas Resort & Casino, which has direct access to the Miracle Mile Shops, an indoor mall with many restaurant and shopping options.

Q: Are kids welcome to join the celebration?
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Q: What will the weather be like in Las Vegas in May?
With our wedding ceremony taking place on an outdoor terrace, it is important to take the weather into account for that portion of our celebration. The weather will likely be in the upper 80’s at the time of the ceremony, with a low in the low to mid 70’s at night. The reception and cocktail hour will be inside the hotel, in an air conditioned space.

Q: What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
The dress code for our ceremony & reception is cocktail attire, so we recommend outfits you would wear to a nice dinner out. For feminine guests, we suggest evening dresses anywhere between floor-length to just above the knees or a nice suit. For masculine guests, we suggest a suit and jacket (tie optional) or a nice pair of slacks with a crisp button down. As for shoes, wear a clean pair that you feel comfortable dancing in. Jeans would not be considered appropriate for this event.

Q: Will dinner be served at the reception or cocktail hour? Will there be any vegan, vegetarian, or specific diet options?
At the cocktail hour, several hors d’oeuvres will be served to guests. During the reception, there will be a bread & butter service, buffet-style dinner, and dessert. We will also have cocktails, beer/wine, and non-alcoholic options available during both the reception and cocktail hour.

As we are aware that several of our guests have specific dietary restrictions, there will be vegan and vegetarian options at both the cocktail hour and reception to accommodate your needs.

Q: How should I travel to the venue if I’m not staying in walking distance?
We suggest calling a taxi from your hotel if you’re staying on the Las Vegas Strip. This is also our recommended transportation from the airport to wherever you are staying. If you are staying off strip, we recommend using the Uber or Lyft app.
