Daryl and I dated in Middle School for a while. His parent's moved him to Texas at the end of 8th grade. I was devastated. I remember him walking out of the middle school doors to leave in his parent's station wagon. We wrote each other a few times but you know how that goes. We found each other about 14 years ago and emailed each other a few times but never spoke again. Daryl messaged me in July 2022. I did not get ahold of him for 6 months as I had never received the message until January 2023. We texted each other non-stop and spoke on the phone for hours at a time. We both knew that something special was brewing. He had never left the back of mind all those years apart. Nor mine his. I flew down to Texas 27 days later and the rest is history. All I know is that God is good. We wondered where each other was our whole lives. Now here we are!
