We lived in the same freshman dorm, #eddiesforlife, at Bethel University and were on the same broomball team all four years of college. I, (David), have no distinct memories of Lily until sophomore year. I, (Lily), knew of David because we lived in the same dorm and were on the same broomball team.

(Sophmore Year) Our first solo picture together. We were randomly paired together for a game night and ended up winning. Our first take of this picture did not go well and we were forced to take another standing closer together. I, (David), liked how Lily wanted to win and was smart. I, (Lily), was happy to be paired up with David, even though I didn't know him very well, because I thought we could have a good chance at winning.

(Two Years Later) This was our third date together. We went cross-country skiing. David asked Lily out to dinner two week prior after a game of broomball. I, (David), appreciated that Lily was willing to try something active and new to her. I, (Lily), liked that David was into different or active things, he was also patient with me as more time was spent in the snow than planned.

We played disc golf together, one of David's favorite hobbies.

We played tennis, ate chimichangas, went for a walk, and David made his first appearence in Lily's BeReal.

We graduated!

We went camping with Lily's family in Akeley, MN. I, (Lily), liked how David easily joined in and hung out with my family.

We got to go to a wedding together and see each other during the summer, which was a treat!

We went camping on the North Shore with a bunch of our friends. We got to see waterfalls, a moose, and cliff jumped into Lake Superior.

6 month (and one day) anniversary!! We ate at the restaurant where we had our first date and walked around the park where we became official.

We went to a wedding, (cow themed), with all of our friends in South Dakota and had the times of our lives.

We visited David's family in Colorado and hiked Castle Rock.

We celebrated many Christmases together and got to be with all of our families. I, (Lily), was grateful David was willing to join in on the chaos.

2nd time cross-country skiing (with less time spent in the snow).

Lily joined David's family in their yealy trip to Golden Eagle Lodge. I, (David), had dreamed of when this would happen, but hadn't dreamed of someone as perfect as Lily. (Lily) It was very meaningful to be included in the trip and to see David's family's dynamic and interactions in a place so special.

It was supposed to be a chill Valentines Day.
