Sophie and David matched on the dating app Bumble in the spring of 2021. Sophie was wrapping up a semester of graduate school and David suggested they should celebrate the end of the school year with a date. On May 8th, 2021, the two hit it off and have been talking every day since.

By the end of the summer of 2021, Sophie and David were officially official. An item. A Couple.

Sophie and David continued to accomplish life events like moving in together, graduating from graduate school, buying a house together, traveling around the world, and even saving a kitten from the bayou.

In August of 2023, David proposed to Sophie after a hike through the redwood forest on the pacific coast. She said Yes!
