This is where we are staying, so close Laura's not even getting a car to the venue.

We have provisionally reserved 10 double/twin rooms at £125 each, including breakfast. We were shown several rooms and they all look lovely, quite modern and spacious.

However we recommend guests to book online if booking soon, as this will be cheaper the sooner you get booked up! We've seen deals through booking.com for £99 with a 10% discount code on top, and Quidco making even cheaper.

Parking at this hotel is limited, there are only 27 spaces, but there are also 2 large public carparks just to the rear of the hotel and these are both free to use 24 hours a day.

If there are no cheaper rooms available online and you want to take a reserved room at The White Swan Hotel just quote our wedding party details and pay over the telephone with The White Swan (our contact is Diane if there are any problems). This must be done by the beginning of June, as we will be cancelling any unused rooms by then, to avoid being charged for unwanted rooms.

The Hog's Head is the other larger hotel in the area but is a short taxi ride away. Rooms are around the same price as The White Swan Hotel but we personally think the rooms at the Swan are nicer (plus a saving on cost of taxi etc).

There are many, many B&B's in Alnwick and the surrounding area, which offer many cheaper options. We can't recommend any of these however as have to avoid due to Laura's pet allergies.
