Swipe left or swipe right? That was the big question back in March 2017 on a dating app. David decided to swipe right on Kelly’s profile—and, to his excitement, Kelly swiped right too! What started with a few messages turned into a life-changing one: “Do you want to eat Korean BBQ?” Kelly’s quick and enthusiastic “Yes!” set everything in motion. David couldn’t wait for their first date. They met at a cozy Korean BBQ spot in Koreatown, Los Angeles, and from the very first moment, it felt like something special was unfolding. The night was full of laughter and unexpected adventures—they ate amazing food, accidentally got into the wrong Uber, discovered a bar was closed, and ended up at another spot that was still open. They talked for hours, laughed until their cheeks hurt, and ended the night knowing this was the beginning of something truly magical. From then on, they couldn’t get enough of each other. Days turned into weeks of texts, calls, and more dates. One date led to another, and before they knew it, they both realized this was it. They wanted to be with each other—just each other. Deleting their dating apps together was a big moment, sealing the start of their official relationship. As the years went by, David and Kelly discovered just how perfectly they fit together. They could be their silly, authentic selves without hesitation, and their shared values and love for life only brought them closer. Their families clicked effortlessly, sharing similar beliefs, hobbies, and unwavering support for their love story. And their friends? Always there to cheer them on, whether for fun hangouts or deep conversations about life’s twists and turns. In 2020, they welcomed a new kind of love into their lives—a sweet beagle named Miah. Their little fur baby instantly became the heart of their home. From Miah’s playful zoomies to her cuddly moments on the couch, she’s brought an extra layer of joy and warmth to their journey. She’s more than a pet; she’s family. Now, after seven amazing years of love, laughter, and growth, David and Kelly are thrilled to take the next step: marriage. They’ve shared so much—living in Koreatown, making homes at David’s parents’ rental and now Kelly’s parents’ rental, picking up new hobbies, and exploring the world together. Every memory has brought them closer, and they know the best is yet to come. At the heart of it all is a simple truth: they love each other, deeply and wholeheartedly. Everything they’ve been through, every moment they’ve shared, has led them here—to this beautiful celebration of their love. They can’t wait to celebrate their union surrounded by the family and friends who mean the world to them. They’re overjoyed to share this milestone with all of you and can’t wait to see you soon!
