How do I RVSP?
Formal invitations will be sent in May. After receiving your invitation you can return to this website and RVSP under the "RSVP" tab. We ask that you RSVP by August 30th and please only RSVP for those addressed on your invitation. We hope you can join and we can't wait to celebrate with you!
Are kids welcome?
Our wedding is adults only. We love your kids, but thought you might like a night off. Thank you for your understanding!
Is there a dress code?
Yes! We are asking our guests to dress in garden party attire. Think florals, patterns or fun colors! Please note our wedding is outdoors on grassy ground, wear shoes you'd be able to walk on grass in!
Can I take photos?
We are having an unplugged ceremony in which we ask guests to silence their cell phones and put them away. We want you present in the moment during the ceremony and hired an excellent photographer to capture every detail! At the end of the ceremony we will give everyone the opportunity to capture a photo of the bride and groom on your phones, otherwise we'll be sure to share our professional photos with you all!
Where do I park?
Rustic Roots Winery has a large parking lot, with an over flow gravel lot that will be able to accommodate all our guests vehicles!
What is Minnesota weather like in September?
September temperatures average right around 75 degrees but our weather is known to be temperamental so keep an eye on the forecast as you are packing. Additionally, this should be the perfect time of year to see the trees changing colors over the St. Croix river valley!
When does the reception end?
Our venue is in the town of Scandia, which has a strict noise ordinance after 10:00 pm. Therefore, the party ends at 10:00, we can't wait to dance the night away with you until then! If you'd like to keep the party going, there are many bars downtown Stillwater for barhopping!
Our wedding day is for everyone to enjoy. There is a short stroll down a gravel road to get to the ceremony site, we will be able to drive a vehicle to the ceremony site to transport any guests needing assistance. The venue's facilities and buildings all follow ADA guidelines, but please let us know if there are any additional accommodations you may require.
